'Better Cotton' Trainings Towards Sector Employees Begins

Training series on 'Integrated Production Principles and Quality Production Factors in Cotton' will be held within the scope of the 'Integrated Resource Efficiency in Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Project', carried out by the GAP Regional Development Administration in cooperation with UNDP, as part of the dissemination of Better Cotton practices in the region. The trainings will be carried out by Prof. Dr. Cafer Mart in Turkish, on 17-19-21 August 2020.

GAP Administration and UNDP support the "Better Cotton" project in cooperation with the Good Cotton Practices Association (IPUD) in order to improve the resource utilization efficiency of farmers and realize internationally certified production in cotton, which is one of the most important products for the GAP region. The training and capacity building activities that will be implemented in this context at this month are aimed at reaching especially experts and farmers working on Good Cotton in Diyarbakır and Urfa provinces and all sector employees including Development Agencies and Chambers of Agriculture in 9 provinces of the GAP Region.
