Women empowered through learning digital marketing

Under the "Life is Simpler with the Internet for Women with a Goal" project, 40 women met with TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Board in Digital Marketing Training.

Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Habitat Association and Türk Telekom aim to support women’s active participation in social life by contributing to their socio-economic empowerment, raising awareness of women in entrepreneurship and improving their technology skills through digital marketing trainings and mentorship programs.

Within the scope of the "Life is Simpler with the Internet for Women with a Goal" project, Digital Marketing Training was held on 2 June 2020 with TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Board. 40 women had the opportunity to learn and discuss on issues such as digital marketing, internet advertising, audience targeting and e-commerce.

Experience sharing by inspiring entrepreneurial women was also included in the training. Sevginar Baştekin, Founder of HighGenic and Duygu Yılmaz, Biolive Co-founder shared their entrepreneurship adventures in a panel moderated by Elif Ergu from Hürriyet Newspaper.

Within the scope of the project, 2,180 women have benefited from trainings to date. Online Design Thinking Workshop will be held on June 24, 2020 with women who participated in Digital Marketing Training. In the workshop, women will be working on the persona and experience map canvas. Mentoring support will be provided to 100 women attending the Design Thinking Workshop. Also, online Digital Marketing Training will continue to be delivered every Thursday.
