KOSGEB announced that it will provide support to entreprises that receive productivity improvement services from Model Factories, founded in cooperation of Ministry of Industry and Technology and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in order to support improving the productivity level of entreprises.

Additional to the contributions of the main partners of the Model Factory Project which is implemented since 2015 in cooperation of Ministry of Industry and Technology and United Nations Development Programme, support schemes are being introduced aiming to facilitate the access of entreprises to the productivity improvement services provided by model factories.

Small and Medium Entreprises Development Organization (KOSGEB) enlarged the scope of its Entreprise Development Support Program and introduced Model Factory Support on April 22, 2020.

It is aimed to support the entreprises for the costs of the services provided by model factories. Upper limit of the support is 70.000 YTL while the support rate is %60.

Improving the productivity level of entreprises has been one of the most important items of Turkey’s development agenda recently. For this purpose, model factories are among the prominent tools that are introduced in development plans and strategy documents.

Model Factory Project, which started in 2015 as a feasibility study in cooperation of Ministry of Industry and Technology and United Nations Development Programme, has transformed into a project that is supported by public and private sector as well as international donors with the help of increasing commitment of public and private sector.

In the scope of the Project, model factories were established in Ankara and Bursa while the process of establishment is ongoing in Kayseri and Konya.
