Gender equality is a prerequisite to not only human development but also sustainable economic growth. Focusing on the role of private sector in the empowerment of women and girls, this document aims to guide you through how to make your companies/institutions gender-responsive. This guideline is the outcome of Gender Responsive Firm Transformation Programme implemented under the Job Creation Component of UNDP’s EU-funded Turkey Resilience Project in response to the Syria Crisis (TRP). It has been prepared based on the trainings and one-on-one consultancies provided to the companies and experiences with companies throughout the implementation process of the code of conducts.
