Deputy Resident Representative

Mr. Sukhrob Khojimatov is an acting Senior Manager in UNDP Turkey with over 20 years of experience in Development and Programme Management in International Organizations as well as in Governmental Institutions and private sector, sustained by Master Degree in Law.

Sukhrob was appointed as UNDP Deputy Resident Representative in Turkey in November 2017. Prior to that, he was Deputy Country Director for Somalia and Director of UNDP Somalia Nairobi Support Office (2013-2017). Before that, he was in NY in a short assignment in a position of the Head of Policy and Operations Support Unit within Regional Bureau for Europe and Central Asia (RBEC). Prior to that, Sukhrob worked as Assistant Resident Representative and Programme Manager in UNDP Tajikistan (2006-2013).

Before joining UNDP from 2000 until 2006, Sukhrob holds a number of senior positions in USAID Legal and Economic Development Projects in Tajikistan. He began his career in the Office of General Prosecutor of Tajikistan in 1996 and hold the position of the Deputy Head of Department.

Sukhrob fluently speaks English, Russian and Farsi/Dari languages.
