The public perception survey gives clues on 2007 general elections

Association for Supporting and Educating Women Candidates(KA-DER) Ankara and UNDP conducted a public perception survey measuring voters’ attitudes towards women’s participation in politics. The survey results will be announced on 14 November 2006.

Ankara - The results of the public perception survey identifying voters’ attitudes on women’s participation in politics be announced at a press meeting on 14 November 2006 Tuesday, 11:00-12:30 hours, at Ankara Sheraton Hotel.

The survey results give clues to the outcome of the 2007 General Election and presents statistical data on the impact of women’s issues and women candidates on voters’ political party preferences.

UNDP Turkey-Deputy Resident Representative Sarah Poole will make opening remarks followed by KA-DER Ankara Branch Office Project representative İlknur Üstün. Survey results will be presented by Konsensus Research and Consultancy Director Murat Sarı.
