    Thousands turn out in 160 countries for world premier of ‘One Day on Earth’

    A feature-length documentary film that captures scenes from life in every country in the world —all in one day on 10 October 2010— was screened in 160 countries on Earth Day, April 22, 2012. Theaters were filled to capacity from Andorra to Zimbabwe, including the famed Mann Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles.

    One Day on Earth: A global film experience

    Istanbul Bilgi Univeristy hosted a lively festival on April 22 with the support of UNDP and the participation of the youth, NGOs, students and environmentalist volunteers. Under the sponsor of the Municipality of Eyüp, the Youth and Earth Festival featured One Day on Earth Motion Picture, a film comprised of videos sent by people from all around the world in one day, under the auspices of the UNDP.
