United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Turkey is calling everyone to create “Space 4 Life” with four inspiring video stories.

Ankara, 7 August 2019 – UNDP’s new video campaign in Turkey features people who were empowered through UNDP-led projects under the “Inclusive and Democratic Governance” portfolio, from a deminer in the eastern border of the country to a young lawyer taking steps to help disadvantaged people.

Turkey’s eastern borders are being recovered by clearing mines through the first-ever humanitarian demining project in the country, one of the deminers in the field, Kaffar Akka is telling his story to Space for Life.

Turkish citizens in Nantes, France, talk about the e-consulate system that changed the way they access embassy services. This system was also developed with the support from UNDP.

A center for special people in Nevşehir which became a haven for locals is also featured in the project.

A group of lawyers from different cities of Turkey have developed their skills to help more people from disadvantaged groups.
