Event: SGP Turkey is celebrating its 25 years

GEF Small Grants Programme (SGP Turkey) is celebrating its 25th year experience; as a platform gathers official authorities, private sector, and volunteers around civil society organization’s ideas solution and innovative practices in Turkey. Those civil society oriented practices and products on biodiversity conservation, climate change and land degradation is going to be shared via an event, giving place to fair ground and discussion panels on specific topics, in September 22-23, 2017, Cermodern Open Air, Ankara.  

SGP Turkey, starting in 1993 and implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), has supported 264 projects of 161 grantees, in collaboration with various institutions and 723 partners and over 250,000 volunteers. Program has formed a common platform where good practices, awareness raising, partnerships, knowledge products flourished, keeping in mind; to share the results that will bring light into our future, no matter how small the power is, via courage, impact and the sincerity of these civilian steps.
