Training of the Trainers Programme on TS EN ISO 50001 Energy Management System

Ankara - “Training of the Trainers Programme on “TS EN ISO 50001 Energy Management System (EnMS)” will be organized on 5-9 May 2014 in Ankara by international experts within the context of Improving Energy Efficiency in Industry Project. The training programme will be on TS EN ISO 50001 Energy Management System which is based upon efficient use of energy, which can be implemented in all sectors and in any enterprises and that can also be integrated with other management systems.

Participation to the training will be limited to 25 people. The applicants will be selected through the below provided requirements. Those who successfully completed this training may be eligible to be contracted by UNIDO to undertake EnMS trainings nationwide.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. University degree in engineering or related specific disciplines (Management science, economics)
  2. At least 5 years of combined working experience in the areas of industry and/or on the highly related academic fields


  1. Training experience on management systems/standards
  2. Adequate knowledge on EnMS/Standards

The training will be free of charge. Accommodation and transportation costs of participants will not be covered. Detailed CV should be sent by e-mail to till April 25, 2014. Improving Energy Efficiency in Industry Project is executed by  the General Directorate of Renewable Energy of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources together with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) with the support of Global Environment Fund (GEF). Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization (KOSGEB), Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) and Technology Development Foundation of Turkey (TTGV) are the other partners of the project.
