Regional conference on Corporate Social Responsibility

Regional Conference for business and stakeholders "CSR in the New Europe: challenges and solutions" will be taking place on 25-26 June 2007 in Brussels.

New EU Member States and candidate countries experience specific challenges of incorporating Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in their country context. To address these challenges UNDP launched a Regional CSR Project funded by the European Commission and will be presenting first comprehensive baseline analysis of CSR situation in the region during a Regional CSR conference on 25-26 June 2007 in Brussels.

The Conference will be also devoted to a multi-stakeholder dialogue between business representatives, governments and NGOs as well as provide a forum to exchange good practices on CSR implementation and promotion in the new Europe region. It may be of interest to business representatives, government officials, stakeholders (NGOs, media, academia and others), interested in newest tendencies, business cases for CSR, government and society engagement, all specific to the new EU Member States and candidate countries.
