    Küre Mountains National Park: First PAN Parks certified protected area of Turkey

    The “Enhancing Forest Protected Areas Management System in Turkey” project which was funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and bore considerable outputs such as PAN Park certification of the Küre Mountains National Park. The closure meeting will be held in Ankara on 8 October 2012 and will be followed by the “Importance of Forest Ecosystems in Conservation: Küre Mountains National Park Symposium”.
